In Conjunction with 206 Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotorGP Malaysia), Ducati Malaysia launched 5 new models at Petaling Jaya. These models inclde the 2016 Ducati XDiavel, Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro, Ducati Hypermotard 939, Ducati Monster 1200 R, and Ducati Superbike 959 Panigale.

2016 Ducati XDiavel Malaysia Launch

Ducati Malaysia Launch the new Ducati XDiavel. It represents the merger of two worlds: that of the cruiser for long, low speed relaxing journeys, and that of the Ducati, characterised by Italian style, technical sophistication and very high performance. The X of XDiavel is just that: the crossover between apparently differing and distant worlds, united in a single bike, a synthesis where both are fully realised without any compromises.

Ducati XDiavel gives you the Low speed excitement. Dauntless, irreverent, unheard of, the new Ducati XDiavel breaches the world of cruisers with Ducati values, merging concepts that apparently stand worlds apart. Travelling and relaxing to the comfort of forward controls combines with the performance and handling of a real Ducati. The new Ducati Testastretta DVT 1262 engine reconciles the two different personalities of the Ducati XDiavel, ensuring superbike muscle and a flat torque curve from the low rev range upwards.

Solutions implement frontline technologies. The Ducati Testastretta DVT engine instantly adjusts according to riding conditions or rider choices. 2016 Ducati Hypermotard 939 Malaysia

Ducati Malaysia launch Ducati Hypermotard 939. The new Ducati Hypermotard 939 is a stunning looking bike that is also a joy to ride.

The original dirtbike-inspired look is even more daring thanks to high ground clearance, a high and tapered tail, and narrow sides. These are the design elements that characterise the Hypermotard and which have been created for a motorbike that can be used for urban commuting, touring or for a thrilling day-out on the track.

In its hand protectors, more typically fitted to off-road models, the new Ducati Hypermotard 939 integrates LED turn signals in order to blend in perfectly with the model’s clean design and the need to use it in the city. The attention paid to the flow of the lines has allowed an essential and minimalist image of this family, despite the bikes’ complex water-cooled engine and thoroughly modern technology.

The new Hypermotard 939 family therefore stands out because of its proportions, ergonomics and practicality, besides being equipped with the latest Ducati technology. While the Ducati Hypermotard 939 and Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP versions faithfully maintain an essential Supermotard look, the Ducati Hyperstrada 939 seems less extreme and has specific features aimed at touring.

2016 Ducati Monster 1200 R Malaysia Launch

Ducati Malaysia launch Ducati Monster 1200 R – All the elements that created the Monster legend are evident at a glance: a powerful “Monster-fly-line”, round headlight flanked by the forks, solid and sculptural metal fuel tank, and the authentic “less is more” style concept that gives the perception of being in front of an engine, a chassis, a tank, a saddle; and nothing more.

The Designer wanted to communicate the top performance of the Ducati Monster 1200 R with a sport, compact and light design to create the image of an individualistic model, almost single-seat.

The rider and passenger seats group (still using a single-seat solution) is visually short and narrow delivering an elegant sportiness. The tail and the passenger seat cover show a razor volume characterized by strong and marked surfaces. The side view of the seat is compact, and thin.

The rear frame is completely new, with a light structure design. The passenger foot pegs support, are separated and directly fixed to the sub-frame.

The high-mounted license-plate holder made in aluminum enhances the view of the huge rear tire 200/55 that, as a result of the rised chassis set-up, is distant from the tail by increasing the feeling of lightness of the rear view.

The forged wheels reproduce the same tri-W design as of those of Ducati Panigale S / R.

2016 Ducati Superbike 959 Panigale Malaysia Launch

Ducati Malaysia Launch Ducati 959 Panigale – It fitted with a new, more powerful engine with slipper clutch, ready to unbridle a racing attitude. Built on an improved chassis integrating a monocoque frame, together with fully adjustable suspension. Poised between road and track, between pure performance, technology and effortless handling, the Ducati 959 Panigale sports a breathtaking design. The ideal adrenaline-booster in the form of a Ducati superbike.

The engine has been designed as a structural element of the frame. As such, its architecture has been completely reviewed to ensure the best design in terms of structure, weight distribution and robustness.

The cylinders, at a 90° angle to each other, are mounted on the crankcase to produce a 21° angle between the front cylinder and the horizontal plane. This allows the engine to sit forward, optimizing the distribution of weight between the front and rear ends and achieving the perfect position of the fastening points of the cylinder heads into the monocoque chassis of the Ducati 959 Panigale.
